Winter may have arrived, with snow falling and ice forming in and around Orange several times this year, but that isn't deterring Ella Parry-Jones from having a haircut.

Quite a severe haircut, in fact.
Ella is shaving her head this Sunday at the Group 10 derby between Orange Hawks and CYMS on Sunday, and while the weather will be a balmy 14 degrees, she knows she's going to need to invest in some serious beanies to get through the winter.
However, she knows she's still one of the lucky ones.
"There's so many kids out there who don't really have a choice," Ella said.
The 10-year-old was inspired to shave her hair after people close to her - her uncle and her dance teacher - were both diagnosed with cancer.
She will be donating her hair to Wigs4Kids, while all the money will be donated to the Cancer Council.
The shortest she can remember her hair being is to her shoulders, and said she was both "excited and nervous" about having the buzz cut.
"It'll be a really emotional day," she said.
Ella has been fundraising for a few months, doing the rounds with a donation bucket and selling raffle tickets, with prizes to be drawn on Sunday.
Two Hawks games have passed with Ella making rounds collecting donations, while she was also at Orange Public School on election day, and was fundraising at the Orange Netball Association last Saturday.
Ella plays in the OPS Vipers' under-11s side, and has a connection to Hawks, too - her sister Courtney Morgan-Jones plays league tag and under-18s for the two blues.
There's so many kids out there who don't really have a choice if they lose their hair or not.

Last weekend's round of netball, which allowed players to wear different colours under their uniforms, netted $864.95, while the total is currently floating at just under $5000.
"I had this crazy imagination of raising a thousand hundred dollars in my head and then realised that's not going to happen, and then I thought like $3000 and now my goal of 3000 we've smashed it."
The shave will begin at about 12.25pm.
She wanted to thank everyone who had donated, as well as all the businesses who had jumped onboard to donate prizes for Ella's raffle.
