The students at TAFE NSW are six weeks into their course and on the lookout for models to help get them to graduation.
The beauty therapy and hairdressing studios need both men and women for hair cuts and colours, nail services, waxing and lash and brow love.
Three days a week the more than 30 students who are working towards beauty therapy certificates hone their craft on members of the public, at a fraction of what it would usually cost.

Cost-conscious men and women who are after a bit of pampering can have acrylic or gel nails done for $17, a full leg wax for $15 or a haircut from $10.
Student Tracey Charlton has already been working in the beauty industry for some time and has considerable experience in waxing and makeup application.
She said like her, all the students rely on the public to give them enough experience to gain their certificates.
"There's only so many times we can practice on one another," Mrs Charlton said.
