Not quite, but it's almighty close.
Orange nudged 31 degrees last Thursday while Monday's top temperature of just 12 degrees four days later will be a massive shock to the system.
And Orange's weather yo-yo continues to ensure residents aren't able to pack away the winter woollies just yet, with a chance of snow in some parts of the state above 1200 metres.
The start of the working week is predicted to be much cooler than the long term average for December, a summer month where the mercury normally peaks at an average of around 25 degrees in Orange.
But a cold front passing through the state means snow is a chance of falling in alpine regions of NSW while bush fires continue to burn in the north.
Central West parts of the state will continue to battle areas of raised dust with fresh and gusty westerly winds strong over the ranges.
Although Mount Canobolas' elevation of 1395m is well above the 1200m the BoM is suggesting as a snow guide for Monday, no snow is forecast to fall in the Central West.
Orange is, however, predicted to receive as much as 10 millimetres of rain. Overnight, Orange will dip to just 3 degrees, with the lowest December temperature on record 0 degrees.
Tuesday's top temperature will be 19 degrees.
