Prime7 contestant, Mel Wightman will put on Vinyl in the Vines at Nashdale Lane Wines next month, a music festival fundraiser for the Cancer Council.
Talented Central West musos, including Orange's Sebastian Jones, Amy Viola and Evergreen Aus, will perform alongside Bathurst's Smith and Jones, Andy Nelson and Sarah Evans.
Radio presenter and vinyl enthusiast Patrick Coomey will hit the decks, taking audience requests during the afternoon soireé.
The team from Groundstone and the Cheesecake Co will head down to provide sustenance to go with the booze and beats.
Ms Wightman said Vinyl in the Vines is all about letting people enjoy great live local music, wine and food, while supporting the amazing work that the Cancer Council does.
She said there will also be a raffle of prizes from local businesses, including a generous donation from Nashdale Lane Wines.
"Not only is Vinyl in the Vines hosted there, and a percentage of bar sales going to the Cancer Council, but they have also given a glamping package valued at $300 to be part of the raffle," Ms Wightman said.
The event will run from 12-5pm on May 11.
Tickets are $40 and include bus transport to and from the event, from outside the Orange Visitors Information Centre. All of the money raised will go towards Ms Wightman's Dance for Cancer fundraiser.
Tickets are available online at 123 Tix.
