The Lyndon Women’s program run by Lives Lived Well assists regional and rural women with drug and alcohol problems with a live-in recovery service and has a child care worker on site to help their children.
Program manager Nettie Lymbery said women and children had hand-painted their prints on to a canvas and tree to create the unique work.
The work was handed to supporter Bunnings Warehouse in north Orange this week.
“Bunnings has donated outdoor play equipment and furniture, a chicken pen and nesting boxes and materials for our vegetable gardens,” she said.
Bunnings complex manager Derryn Linke said they were pleased to help.
“We’ve had a great time helping out at Lyndon Women’s helping to get this important service up and running,” he said.
Lyndon Women’s program also thanked other supporters including Mullion Produce, Star Chem and the Quota Club of Orange.
