Motorists travelling along the Great Western Highway have been told to expect delays, exercise caution on the roads and to reduce their speed following a fatal crash at Glanmire.

About 9.30am on Monday emergency services were called to the intersection of the Great Western Highway and Brewongle Lane, Glanmire - approximately 16km east of Bathurst - following reports a Ford Ranger and a motorcycle had collided.
NSW Ambulance paramedics assisted the male rider of the motorcycle; however, he died at the scene.
He is yet to be formally identified.
The driver of the vehicle - a 32-year-old man - was uninjured and taken to Bathurst Hospital for mandatory testing.
Officers from Chifley Police District have established a crime scene and investigations into the circumstances surrounding the crash continue.

Police are appealing for any witnesses, or anyone who may have dashcam footage of the area at the time of the incident, to come forward and contact Chifley Police on (02) 6332 8629 or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
According to Live Traffic, traffic has been affected in both directions.
Alternating (stop/slow) traffic conditions are in place.
