Of those, one case was announced in Mudgee and the remaining 13 cases were recorded for the town of Molong just outside Orange.
WNSWLHD have encouraged those without symptoms to be tested for the purpose of COVID surveillance. Isolation is not required following a surveillance test if the person has no symptoms and persons within the same household also show no symptoms.
If you have not been identified as a close contact of a positive COVID-19 case and have not visited an identified venue of concern, isolation is also not required.
Drive-through testing for Orange will remain available at the Orange Showground and Wade Park, 8am to 4pm.
Those in the Cabonne district who need to be tested are advised to contact (02) 6369 4100 to arrange an appointment for testing at the local hospital located in King Street, Molong.
NSW has recorded 179 new COVID-19 cases and three deaths in the 24 hours to 8pm on Monday.
Statewide, those aged 16 years and over are now 92.4 per cent fully vaccinated, while 94.5 per cent have had their first COVID-19 vaccine shot.
Those aged between 12 and 15 years are 76.5 per cent fully vaccinated, while 81.2 per cent have had their first dose.
There are 160 COVID-19 patients in hospital, with 26 in ICU.
On Monday, 62,166 tests were conducted which was up on the previous day's total of 47,175.
South Western Sydney Local Health District recorded the highest number of coronavirus cases across the state on Monday, with 32 cases recorded.
Northern Sydney LHD recorded 25 new cases, while South Eastern Sydney LHD also had 25 cases.
