People are quite anxious, people have lost their jobs
- Phil Donato, member for Orange
Mr Donato said it contained contact details for about 100 help sites and organisations in the region.
"I know there's a real need for this," he said.
"It's a ready reckoner for people in time of need."
Mr Donato said people were confused about where to go for help with mental health issues.
"I've met dozens of people across the electorate who've shared with me their experiences of mental health anguish, having been lost in a mental health maze," he said.
"There appears to be a lack of collaboration among service providers in the mental health space, who are often competing for government funding."
"We've done it hard in the last couple of years, certainly in the local area, we've had drought, we've had bushfires, we've had mouse plagues and now we've got COVID.
"People are quite anxious, people have lost their jobs, there's financial uncertainty about whether they're business is going to be able to continue."
Mr Donato said he was "very passionate" about raising awareness of mental health problems.
"In the NSW parliament I've been raising awareness of mental health and suicide prevention while advocating for improved co-ordination and service delivery to the community."
