After NSW Ambulance received an initial call at around 4.45pm, the TOLL Rescue Helicopter was also tasked to the incident in Windradyne.
The six-year-old reportedly suffered a head injury as a result of the fall and, after being assessed and receiving treatment on site, was airlifted to Westmead Hospital.
Due to the location of the incident, the chopper was forced to land in a nearby park to allow paramedics to access the patient.
