The cheapest diesel available yesterday was $1.083 per litre at the Metro on Bathurst Road, according to the state government's Fuel Check.

The second cheapest - United Petroleum on Woodward Street, BP North Orange on Hanrahan Place and United Petroleum on Peisley Street - were all at $1.135 per litre.
Coles Express, on the corner of Summer and Sale streets, was the most expensive diesel at $1.189 per litre.
The best value Ethanol 94 E10 was at the 7-Eleven on Molong Road, and the United Petroleums on Woodward Street and Peisley Street, all at $1.179 per litre.
The most expensive Ethanol 94 E10 was $1.229 per litre at Lowes on Peisley Street, Coles Express and the BP Overlander on Summer Street.
There was a four-cent gap between the cheapest Unleaded 91 and the most expensive.
The best value, $1.199 per litre, was again at the 7-Eleven on Molong Road, and the United Petroleums on Woodward Street and Peisley Street.
Caltex on Elsham Street, Caltex on Summer Street and Coles Express were the most expensive, at $1.239 per litre.
A six-cent gap separated Premium 95 around town.
The cheapest, $1.319, was at 7-Eleven on Molong Road.
The Metro on Bathurst Road and the 7-Eleven on Bathurst Road were next best value at $1.323 per litre.
BP Overlander had the costliest Premium 95, at $1.379 per litre.
Fuel in Bathurst across these four categories was about 1.5-3 cents per litre cheaper.
