Philip Shaw is hosting the full kit and caboodle this Saturday, with a three-course Christmas dinner - and while the snow may have come a week early there's still plenty of festive spirit at the winery.
Marketing manager Carine Miller said it was part of the venue's quest to be open for more sit-down food events under chef Francesco Zarrella, who had organised and spearheaded the wintery festive meal.
Ms Miller said patrons often asked if the winery was open for sit-down dinners - at this stage it isn't - and it was something the venue was exploring through one-off events.
"There's not a lot to do in July in Orange but there's nothing like having a good hot meal," she said.
"There'll be three courses with marinated pork shoulder and egg nog on arrival."
While there''ll be a small number of Christmas decorations and - maybe - a Michael Buble track or two coming over speakers, the dream of having a white Christmas in July has come a week late, with last weekend's snow not expected to return on Saturday.
"That's Orange in winter though, you can't plan for these things," Ms Miller said.
"But we'll have an open fireplace and a nice fire going for a nice family dinner feel."
Philip Shaw's Christmas in July is this Saturday from 6.30pm.
Tickets are from $115 from Eventbrite.
