With counting still to continue this week the latest results show the Shooters Fishers and Farmers party's Phil Donato has improved his first preferences votes by 26 per cent compared to the 2016 byelection.

Mr Donato held 49.99 per cent of the vote on Sunday, up from 23.8 per cent in 2016.
However the Nationals vote fell from 31.6 per cent in 2016 to 25.89 per cent for Kate Hazelton this year.
Country Labor's vote was also down to 9.8 per cent this year compared to 18.3 per cent in 2016.
The Greens and Christian Democrats maintained the status quo.
Mr Donato beat Mrs Hazelton in nearly every booth in the electorate on Saturday.
Her only wins were at Canobolas and Eugowra public schools and Sydney Town Hall.
Mr Donato's most decisive wins included Molong Hall where he had 790 votes compared to Mrs Hazelton's 262 and Bletchington Public School 1102 to 485.
He also won well in the pre-poll voting in Orange where he beat Mrs Hazelton by 8302 to 4269.
The best booth for Country Labor's Luke Sanger was Bletchington where he received 269 votes and in the pre-polling with 2905.
