The husband and wife Stars of Orange Dance for Cancer duo have a few years of break-dance and calisthenics experience between them.
“We wanted to do something different though, so those styles won’t be in it,” Mr McKern said.
The McKerns have put in the practice hours at Central West Performing Arts with instructor Charlotte Nonnenmacher.
“It’s been pretty good, pretty challenging,” Mr McKern said.
“We are now just looking at those small details to tidy it up.”
Mr and Mrs McKern have raised $594 so far, through a barbeque fundraiser held at New Life City Church and the support of their friends and family.
“We are doing this because we want to give people with a life threatening illness hope,” Mr McKern said.
The wedding and lifestyles photographer will run a two hour workshop on Saturday with all of the proceeds of the $100 fee to go toward their Cancer Council tally.
