Over $5,000-worth of in donations were delivered to the Salvation Army, which saw stacks of presents, food and gift vouchers gathered in support of families in need for Christmas time.
During the three-week collection period, Cadia's General Manager, Aaron Brannigan described the team's acts of charitable kindness as "incredibly generous".
"We have an incredibly generous workforce who are always willing to rally around the local community, and these donations will help ensure many children have presents to open on Christmas Day," Mr Brannigan said.
Aware of the significant weight that the pandemic has left many carrying, the workforce at Cadia forked out almost $4,000 in presents and gift cards, with the company then closing-out the loot to add an extra $1,500 in food vouchers.
"The challenges of COVID-19 have continued to place pressure on families and households across the region, and we hope this donation will help support those in need this Christmas."
In a drive that's been going between Cadia and the Salvation Army for three-years running, Salvo's Major Kate Young said the donations would go a long way in supporting families right across the Central Western Region this holiday season.
"Many of the people who have been coming in to see us [also] have children," said Major Young.
"By accepting this donation, it means that we can help them out by giving them a little bit extra. It makes their Christmas a more joyful one at this time of year."
