Coming into the second day of their round six clash against St Pat's Old Boys at Riawena Oval, the table-topping Cavaliers had 311 runs to play with thanks to a debut century by Nick Crowley the Saturday prior.
The visitors didn't come close as Pearce (4-39) and Mitch Black (5-42) rattled through the line-up to roll them for 153.
"Everyone bowled really well and Charlie Greer through the middle especially, didn't get any wickets but he bowled 11 straight and bowled really, really well and could've easily had a couple," Pearce said.
"George Cumming who is a walk in at any team and who is going down to play at Manly, bowls one over at the end, just because we've got that depth.
"We know that if someone's having a bit of an off day, we can throw the ball to someone else and that they'll do a job. It's really good to have the group that we do."
The win meant that Cavs go into the Christmas break undefeated and atop the BOIDC ladder, seven points clear of Rugby Union in second.
"We made sure we had a bit of a yarn on Saturday and said it's good where we are now, but after Chrissy is when you've got to switch on that little bit more," Pearce added.
"Especially things like in the field when at the start of the year, we weren't fielding too well and that was one really good positive Saturday, we took some really good catches and we know that we can still get better because we're playing really well."
The opening bowler has now taken eight wickets at an average of 14 and is happy to help out whenever he can.
"Being able to get back is really good to contribute early on," he said.
"Hopefully we can keep that going and we don't have as many washouts."
