Amy Davis, 30, of Icely Road, was not present in court to be sentenced for dishonestly obtaining property by deception.
According to police, Davis drove to the EG Caltex in North Orange at 10.05pm on February 3 and filled the car she was driving with $50.26 worth of petrol and drove off without paying.
On June 22 police spoke to the registered owner of the car who said Davis had it from the start of 2021 and returned it in April.
Police then spoke to Davis on August 28 and she denied driving the car on the night of the offence. However, the incident was captured on CCTV and confirmed she was the driver.
Davis was fined $220 and was ordered to pay $50.26 in compensation.
