Tracey Clayburn, 57, of Currong Crescent, was given a custodial sentence after she drove a car to the police station while four times the legal limit on August 15.
Solicitor Paul Johnson said Clayburn had a problem with alcohol, and the person who was initially driving the car jumped out of the vehicle it in the middle of a roundabout and left the scene.
"She took the wrong initiative to drive the car to the police station," Mr Johnson said.
According to police, CCTV at the station captured a Toyota Camry braking harshly and stopping outside the building in Byng Street at 8.42pm on August 15, then Clayburn then entered the station and threw the keys across the front counter.
She told police she hadn't driven the car but she didn't want the keys and the vehicle had to be moved.
The car was left partially on the road and blocking two police parking spaces and despite her denial a review of CCTV showed her getting out of the driver's door.
Clayburn appeared to be intoxicated and while speaking with police was argumentative and quarrelsome.
The police discovered that she had not had a driver's licence since 2005 and police found 4.1 grams of cannabis in her pocket.
A breath test also returned a high-range reading of 0.209.
Magistrate David Day said Clayburn had a number of drink-driving offences on her record.
He gave her a 12-month community-based Intensive Correction Order with 50 hours of community service, a six-month driving disqualification and a 24-month interlock order for high-range drink driving.
He also fined her $110 for drug possession and $220 for driving without a licence.
In another matter, Aeran Harman, 41, of Sampson Street, returned a reading more than five times the legal alcohol limit when he was caught drink driving on Winter Street on September 19.
Harman was driving at 11.30pm when police stopped his vehicle and he said he had his last beer about 30 minutes before the breath test.
He returned a high-range reading of 0.270 on analysis at Orange Police Station.
According to police, Harman appeared to drunk and he refused to answer questions in relation to his alcohol consumption or food intake.
Mr Day convicted Harman and placed him on a 12-month community correction order and ordered him to undertake 50 hours of community service.
Mr Day also disqualified his driver's licence for six months and placed him on a 24-month interlock order.
