Graeme John Hinchliffe, 38, of Glenroi, was arrested near the intersection of Garema and Goorawin Road on June 15 after police received a report at 6.20pm.
Hinchliffe was taken to Orange Police Station where he was searched and police found a small foil ball containing 0.8 grams of cannabis in the right pocket of his pants.
Hinchliffe appeared before magistrate David Day in Orange Local Court.

"He's 38 years of age, he certainly does have some prior matters on his record," Mr Day said.
