Officers from Chifley Police Area Command had been conducting inquiries to locate a 54-year-old who was last seen at a home on Beaconsfield Road, O'Connell, south of Bathurst, about 6am on Tuesday, December 22.
Following a public appeal, officers from Central West Police District located the man at a Condobolin caravan park on Saturday. He was taken to Condobolin Hospital for assessment.
EARLIER: Police are appealing for public help to help find a man reported missing from the Bathurst region.
Bathurst police said the 54-year-old left a home on Beaconsfield Road, O'Connell about 6am on Tuesday.
When he failed to attend work or return home, officers from Chifley Police District were notified and commenced inquiries to locate him.
Concerns are held for his welfare as his disappearance is considered out of character.
