And it's that line in a social media post the muay thai gun posted at the start of October that's netted him his next fight.
Bubb will take on Jayden Eynaud in December in a rematch of his last bout, which was in August last year.
A devastating Bubb kick ended that fight by knockout in the opening round and the 22-year-old says despite being the No.1 contender for the vacant WBC world title he's got plenty to prove ahead of the looming December 11 rematch with Eynaud.
Plenty to prove to himself, and others.
"A few people called it a lucky shot but I'm out to prove it wasn't," he said of that knockout blow against Eynaud last time around.
"It's going to be a hard six weeks. I've got to get off the beers. Train six days a week. I'll spar in Sydney, get my diet right and cut my weight down, I've put on a bit of COVID-weight."
COVID-19 put an end to Bubb's 2020 plans before they even got off the ground.
I want the six weeks to be over now ... 100 per cent.
- Charlie Bubb in anticipation of the December 11 fight
He'd planned on travelling to England to fight and was going to take on a French muay thai fighter for the WBC crown.
But travel restrictions put an end to that ambition, and then any hope of getting in the ring closer to home was put to bed thanks to lockdowns around the country.
Naturally, Bubb's champing at the bit to get into the ring.
"I want the six weeks to be over now ... 100 per cent. It will be nearly 12 months by the time the fight rolls around," he added.
"I've had fighters signed up but COVID happened, a few other fights fell through at start of the year ... we've just never quite got there.
"This one, though, I was calling around, putting posts up on Facebook asking if anyone (in his weight division) was keen, and this guy had an opponent pull out too.
"I'm over the moon."
Bubb will get down to 84kg for this fight, before ramping up his bid at the WBC title.
"As soon as everything is back to normal it will 100 per cent happen."
Bubb will take on Eynaud for Eruption Muay Thai at Mansfield on December 11.
