Snow is predicted to fall across the region late on Friday evening and into Saturday morning, with some forecasts indicating snow will fall in Orange's CBD by 7pm on Friday night.
The flurries are expected to intensify overnight, with the Bureau of Meteorology's Meteye forecast predicting a 95 per cent chance of showers, tending to snow, come Friday night.
The temperatures will dip as a result, putting an end to the Spring weather we've enjoyed over the course of the last few weeks.
After a top of 21.3 degrees Celcius on Monday - our warmest day of September, this year - Orange is expecting a top of just 10 on Friday, with a lower maximum of 7 degrees on Saturday.
The minimum temperature will plummet overnight too to a freezing minus-1, with a further chance of rain and snow throughout the morning.
Orange will host the 2020 Blowes Clothing Cup grand finals at Wade Park on Saturday, kicking off with the women's game in the morning.
