Orange shivered through its coldest day of the year on Saturday, but the freezing temperatures aren't expected to continue.
The mercury peaked at 3.7 degrees at 2.37pm, but even then the feels-like temperature was -5.6 degrees. That marked dipped to a extreme -9.8 degrees just after midnight on Sunday morning.
The previous coldest day for 2020 was 5.1 degrees in July, while the record for the coldest August day in Orange was set back in 1997 at 2.4 degrees.
Orange's official weather station at the airport has recorded 63mm since last Thursday.
Our top temperatures are expected to climb during the week, with next Saturday forecast to reach a top of 15 degrees with limited amounts of rain on the radar.
