The Orange campus will have a 50-strong team competing in this year's event, but aside from being a large squad the CSU side will also be bright.
The university wears bright Orange colours when it sends athletes to compete at Uni games and this year staff and students will don the same fluorescent orange when running in Sunday's fun run.
CSU student liaison officer Kate Staniforth, pictured, says the bright orange colours will be flooding fun runs across the state, too, as campuses in New South Wales get active.
"We decided this year we'd encourage as many staff and students to go in a fun run," she said.
The first event was in Albury during February and this weekend's Orange Running Festival is the second run.
We've got a fairly active community anyway and we just want to encourage everyone to be part of it ...

Events in Bathurst, Port Macquarie and Dubbo will follow later in the year.
"We've had a lot of interest so far which is great too," Mrs Staniforth added.
"We've got a fairly active community anyway and we just want to encourage everyone to be part of it ... there's a lot of colleagues and students doing it so get involved and get active and have fun."
Mrs Staniforth said one member of the CSU team would tackle the marathon and a few more would run the half-marathon, but the bulk of the squad was competing in the five or 10km events.
"We're in the public sector challenge which means the number of (kilometres) we do as a total adds up to determine who wins," she said.
The Orange Running Festival will take place on March 7 and 8.
