The Greenhouse of Orange is hosting free movies every Sunday night, plus some special days, starting at 6pm this Sunday.
With a new candy shop set up to feed hungry families the Rooftop Cinema season kicks off with a launch party including the screening of the first film, Aladdin (2019).
OESC marketing manager Debra Clarke said the launch party would feature live music, face-painting and plenty of Christmas craft.
She said the next screening would be on Christmas Eve, Tuesday night, starting with a family movie, Elf, before the adult movie Die Hard was shown from about 9pm.
"It's one of the top five Christmas movies. It's on everyone's list," she said.
And she said they would be screening Crocodile Dundee on Australia Day.
Mrs Clarke said the rooftop cinema would continue throughout summer.
