The Journey Person Christmas Pop-up market is on at The Corner Store Gallery from Thursday-Sunday.
Mrs Zappia said she had been making soy wax candles for seven years.
"It's something I like doing, I find it very therapeutic," she said.
"I use a lot of different jars. I don't use the standard jar from the usual suppliers," she said.
And she said the jars can be re-filled once the candle is used.
Mrs Zappia said she was inspired to start making her own candles after her mother-in-law bought her a candle.
Fiona Schofield said she had been making hats, for markets and private orders, for many years.
"I studied in fashion but I didn't like doing the clothes. We were offered millinery as part of the course," she said.
After working for a hatmaker in Sydney she moved to Orange 16 years ago and now runs her own business.
"I do a bit of everything. I have a workroom here in town. I have done a standalone pop-up here at the gallery."
The market is open from 10am-6pm on Thursday and Friday and 10am-4pm on Saturday and Sunday.
