Two groups from Orange have been nominated for this year's NSW/ACT Regional Achievement and Community Awards.

The Country Education Foundation of Australia has been nominated for the Connecting Communities Award while Ronald McDonald House in Orange has been nominated for the Customer Service Award.
Other Orange nominees already announced include Spring Hill tennis identity Roy Roweth for Individual Excellence in Crown land management, The Allity Calare home in March Street for the Employer Excellence in Aged Care award while the Orange Visitor Information Centre has been nominated for the Customer Service Award.
With nominations now closed the winners of the eight categories will be announced at a gala dinner on Friday November 8 in Sydney.
The awards were started in 2002 to recognise community, business and individual contributions in regional NSW and the ACT.
