Beetle lovers in Orange will be sad to hear that the iconic car model has come to the end of the road.
Volkswagen announced it is halting production of the last version of its Beetle model at its plant in Puebla, Mexico this week.
The cars had a history spanning eight decades since 1938 in Nazi Germany and taking off in post-war Germany.
In time Beetle mania set in and they were sold all over the world with the one millionth Beetle rolling off the assemble line in a town, which is now named Wolfsburg in 1955.
Of course the most famous was Herbie the Love Bug, a replica of which has previously made guest appearances at Gnoo Blas.
