Amorette Zielinski from Central West Mums asked for funding for her planned MumFest event, to give mothers a chance to network and learn how to better cope with everyday pressures.
The event received $3000 towards the cause.
Meanwhile, Tracy Hinton's request for a remembrance seat in Cook Park also received support - it will provide a place for those who lost a loved one to suicide to remember them.
