The event will be at Waratah Sports Club at 6pm and will be the first of three information sessions with others being held on March 13 and April 3.
It will help people learn more about the event, register as a team captain or participant, collect and return major raffle books, register camping spots or catch up with friends.
Orange and Cancer Council representative Brendon Argyle said there is a real camaraderie in place from past participants but they are welcoming to newcomers.
The Relay for Life will be held at Waratahs Sportsground on April 6 and 7.
Teams can register at Wednesday night’s event, at the Orange and District Relay for Life Facebook page, or online at www.cancercouncil.org.au/relayforlife/events.
