Only 18 other tickets were issues for other offences in that time, while one was handed out for incorrect use of retraining devices.
Two people were arrested for drink driving over the period, with one mid level drink driver nabbed in Orange while a high range driver in Condobolin was also stopped.
Central West Police District Inspector Dave Harvey said it was a good weekend on the roads.
“We’re generally happy with the behaviour of motorists over the long weekend and double demerits period,” he said.
He said over 1000 random breath tests were conducted across the district and by and large people had behaved responsible.
