SPRING HILL residents will have a chance to bring concerns to Orange City Council’s attention on Tuesday from 7pm at a meeting in the village.

Mayor Reg Kidd said several residents had already registered for the open forum, to be held at Spring Hill Hall on the corner of Worboys and Seaton streets.
It followed a meeting earlier this year at Lucknow where residents there felt their needs were being forgotten.
“When we go to these places, we don’t expect the red carpet and a kiss on the cheek, but it’s an opportunity to come along with serious concerns they may have,” Cr Kidd said.
“It could be something that could be done relatively easily but has been overlooked or if it needs more resources, we’ll look at how to fit that into our priorities.”
The council will also conduct its usual business at the meeting, but development applications have been postponed to an extraordinary meeting on Wednesday, at the Orange chambers.
