The Western NSW Local Health District says "unforeseen circumstances" have forced a late change to the facility's operating hours.
The drve-thru clinic at the Orange Showground will operate from 8am to 2pm on Friday, December 24.
The drive-thru clinic at Wade Park will operate as per normal; those hours are 8am to 4pm.
The health district is reminding people that increased demand means queses for drive-thru testing may be increased, bumping out the wait times.
"We urge anyone who presents for a COVID-19 test to please prepare for the chance of waiting times at clinics and to be patient and respectful when corresponding with staff at those clinics," the district's spokesperson said.
The drive-thru clinic at the Orange Showground is closed on Christmas day and Boxing day.
The drive-through COVID-19 testing clinic at Wade Park in Orange is also closed on Christmas day, but will operate from 9am to 12pm on Boxing Day.
