Some sides featured heavily, while others were victims of their own team success.
So, without further ado, let's kick this off.
10. Hugh Le Lievre
CYMS' captain has been at his bowling best during the T20 games, but his consistency with bat in hand during the BOIDC season is what has squeaked him onto this list.
139 runs and dismissed just twice, he has been the green and gold's most consistent batter so far this season. Combine that with a 3-21 performance in a narrow opening round loss, and CYMS would be in all sorts if not for their skipper. The only negative to his season might just be batting himself too low.
9. Brett Causer
The first year Orange City captain has been Mr Consistent with ball in hand this year.
He has taken at least two wickets in three of the four games so far and for the most part, they have been important top-order scalps.
To put that into perspective, those three games where Causer has appeared in the wicket column, City have won all three. The one game he failed to take a wicket (and bowled just the one over), they lost. I would say that's pretty valuable to me.
8. Percy Raveneau
Rugby Union's middle-overs specialist is tied at the top of the wicket-taking leader board with nine on the season so far.
The best thing I could say about Raveneau is he is the perfect role player. Opening bowlers get the praise, but those like Rugby's talisman come on to take care of business when the team needs them the most.
He can either clean up a tail (like he did against Orange City) or snag an in-form batter to turn the match on its head (as he did in round one against Centrals).
If you're a captain, you want someone like Raveneau in your team because you always know what you are going to get with him.
7. Sam McPherson
Next on the list is another Rugby player.
McPherson has been your typical all-rounder; good enough to get into the side as a batter or a bowler.
He's bagged eight wickets at a minuscule 8.38 average, while having scored 135 at 67.5 as well.
Rugby look every bit like title contenders this season, and it's all-round performances like the ones McPherson have displayed that will keep them there.
Similar to Raveneau before him, McPherson knows his role and does it well. Rugby may be a bit top-heavy this year, but when the top includes players like McPherson, you know you're in good stead.
6. Daryl Kennewell
He may no longer be captain, but his play on the field certainly hasn't dipped.
The former Centrals skipper is one of three players tied with nine wickets on the season and will be key to any success the red and blacks have in the second half of the year.
While his stats don't overwhelm you, it's the consistency (a trend in my rankings) that has him up this high.
After a sluggish start in round one which saw him finish with figures on 0-47 off seven overs and a score of one to boot, he has been everything you'd want for a team looking to defy the odds.
A score of 73 this past weekend solidified his ranking and although putting him number six might be projecting a bit going forward, I've got every confidence that he can take this fine form through to the final six rounds of the season.
5. Jeremy Thackray
While I've praised the middle-overs bowlers for the work they have done, nothing beats a great opening bowler.
Thackray has been everything you'd want to spearhead your side. He's been economical (yet to go for more than three per over in a match), he's bagged wickets early (dismissed five of the six opening batters that he's faced) and he can swing a bat towards the end of an innings (33 runs off 30 balls this season).
If you were to ask me who I think will finish with the most wickets come the end of the season, Thackray would have to be my pick based on his form so far.
4. Dave Sellers
When you talk about pure match-winners, you'd be hard-pressed to find one better than Dave Sellers (with apologies to brother Wayne).
It's still early days in the BOIDC careers of the ORC players, but already a trend has started to emerge. That is, if Sellers doesn't get them off to a good start, then they're in trouble.
But thankfully for the newcomers, a failed innings has been a rare occurrence from the captain. This point was proven this past week, when he scored 103 of the 158 runs since he came to the crease at number five against Centennials Bulls.
ORC aren't a one-man wonder, but it certainly doesn't hurt to have someone capable of carrying a side with his bat alone.
3. Nic Broes
The St Pat's star is currently sixth on the league's leading run scorers, while also having taken the fourth most wickets (tied with six other players).
If you read those stats out loud, you may think number three is too low, but that just speaks volumes of the talented players we are watching week in, week out this season.
He's only played three games so far, but two of those (5-5 in round one and 138 in round four) were undeniable match-winning performances.
The one time he didn't crack the honours board, St Pat's lost. This is hardly a coincidence and Broes has as good a chance as any in the top five of leading this list come the end of the regular season.
2. Henry Shoemark
He's the league's leading run-scorer with 235 and has done it at a blistering strike rate of 144.
He opened the season with a magnificent 96 against Cavaliers and has looked every bit as good the rest of the way.
City Colts may not be title-contenders this season, but that is by no fault of Shoemark's efforts with the bat. He is yet to score in single-figures in any appearance this season, and has notched up a half-century in three of his four BOIDC games.
He would walk into any side in the competition and should his teammates start to produce even close to the form that Shoemark has, they might actually stand a chance of making the finals.
1. Matt Corben
The Cavaliers captain currently has an average of 233. For those who didn't hear me, I'll repeat...233 runs and only dismissed once.
Not only does he lead the lone undefeated side still left standing, he is doing it while keeping wicket as well. Cavs are red-hot favourites to take out this season's title, and if Corben continues this form, I have no doubt in my mind that they will be celebrating come April. This was an easy selection to top the list.
