Down nine cases from the previous day's report, the Western NSW Local Health District recorded 29 new cases of COVID-19 on Friday.
Of these 29 cases, the Orange Local Government Area has 11 cases on report.
The front-runner city is joined by four a piece in the Dubbo and Blayney Shire LGAs, three in the Bathurst area, two each in Mudgee and Gulgong, and singles cases in Walgett, Parkes and Oberon districts.
Three new venues of concern have been announced for the Orange area.
Backdated to Sunday, December 12, those who attended Mr Lim Restaurant between 8pm-10pm and The Parkview Hotel from 4:45pm to 8pm in Orange on this date between these times, have been advised to monitor for symptoms and undergo testing.
The third venue of concern in Orange has traced a positive case back to Moulder Street's One Strength Gym on Monday, December 13, between the hours of 6pm to 10pm.
Another venue of concern was listed in Millthorpe, a town just south of Orange.
Tonic Restaurant was reported to have a confirmed case in attendance on Friday, December 10, between the hours of 7:20pm to 9:20pm.

In accordance with an announcement made by NSW Health, Western NSW Local Health District have enforced even tighter restrictions around presentations to health facilities.
Some circumstances will only permit visitors for essential patient needs and compassionate reasons.
In particular, these are; providing care for children in hospital, women in labour, and for patients in palliative care.
Risk assessments will be decided on a case-by-case basis, and persons permitted to visit will require proof of full-vaccination status. Masks must be worn, and advice from healthcare staff must be followed.
"This decision has not been made lightly. We must always prioritise our vulnerable patients and staff who are arguably the most vital workers needed in a pandemic."
Statewide, NSW has recorded 2213 new locally acquired COVID-19 cases in the 24-hour reporting period to 8pm on Thursday.
This figure surpasses the prior report by an additional 471 infections, overtaking the record to claim the state's highest number of daily cases during the pandemic to date.
One COVID-related death occurred, with 215 hospital cases receiving treatment for the virus and 24 cases in ICU.

The first dose figure is at 94.8 per cent, with 93.3 per cent of adults 16+ fully vaccinated.
Figures for people aged 12-15 are at 81.4 per cent for one dose of a COVID-19 vaccine received and 77.8 per cent of people aged 12-15 have received two doses.
Testing figures are at 127,583 in the last 24-hour period to 8pm. This number exceeds the previous reporting period by just over 23,000 additional tests.
