Harold Borrodell Gartrell was badly injured when the quad bike he was riding rolled on December 2 at his property on Lake Canobolas Road.
Police said Mr Gartrell was returning to his home from the function centre on his property. He was flown to Westmead hospital where he underwent emergency surgery to relieve pressure on his skull and was placed on a ventlilator. He died on December 10 aged 77.
The celebration of Mr Gartrell's life will be held at the boardwalk at the Hill Street gardens from 10.30am. Patrons are asked to dress casually and in lieu of flowers, donate to the Orange Botanic Gardens.
