He claimed 4-24 which took his season tally to 14, five clear of Cavaliers' Max Pearce in second. Spring Hill were bowled out for 128 thanks to Luke Bingham's 52. In reply, Will Rodwell (44) and John Mulhall (46) helped CYMS chase the score down in the 31st over.
Orange City continued its fine form as they bowled Kinross 2nd XI out for 57. Sam Wasil (5-17) was the destroyer with the ball. City chased down the total three wickets down.
Finally, Cavs got the better of Gladstone thanks to an incredible 69 not out by Mark Maybin, who has now amassed 98 runs this season without being dismissed.
They put on 144 in the first innings and bowled Gladstone out for 125, thanks in part to Tom Blowes (3-19).
It was a derby to remember for Will Oldham as Centrals Black took on Centrals Red in the ODCA third grade competition.
The former first-grader hit a sublime 74 from 55 balls and was well supported by Tristan Moon (52 off 32) as Reds set their club counterparts 239 for victory.
Blacks got off to a decent start thanks to Damien Caughlan's 45-ball 58, but the target proved too much as they finished 7-202 at the end of the 40 overs.
It was an team effort from Cavaliers which got them over the line against Orange City. Five separate wicket-takers helped restrict City to 9-156 off their 40. With bat in hand five players score between 23 and 35, with Jasper Laird top scoring to chase it down in the 38th over.
CYMS split a pair of Centenary Cup T20 games over the weekend when they took on Orange City and Cavaliers. The first game saw Cavs players Cooper Pullen (49 not out) and Stuart Middleton (51 off 18 retired not out) pushed them to 162. CYMS could only manage 91 in reply as Oliver Jarick took 4-6.
Rowan McFarlane top scored with 20 in the second game against City as CYMS were bowled out for 72. The bowlers did their job though and restrict City to 68 from their 20 overs.
