Western NSW Local Health District said in a statement that anyone who attended the following venues at the times listed is a casual contact and must immediately isolate, get tested and remain in isolation until a negative result is received, even if you have had a test in recent days.
The venues in Orange are:
- 7-Eleven in 68 Molong Road on Wednesday, September 15 from 12.40pm to 12.50pm.
- Ashcroft's SUPA IGA in 88 Summer Street on Wednesday, September 15 from 11.40am to 11.50am
- King of the Pack in 88 Summer Street on Wednesday, September 15 from 11.30am to 11.40am
The health district has said that anyone with even the mildest of cold-like symptoms is urged to immediately come forward for testing and isolate until a negative result is received.
Testing in Orange is available at drive-through sites at the Orange Showground and Wade Park, 8am to 4pm daily.
Chief executive of the Western NSW LHD, Scott McLachlan, has previously said that these contact sites on their own would not warrant Orange returning to harsher lockdown orders, although any cases that arise from them may have an impact.
COVID-19 vaccination is available at GPs, pharmacies, respiratory clinics and Aboriginal Medical Services as well as WNSWLHD clinics and hubs. For more information on COVID-19 vaccination visit https://www.healthdirect.gov.au/.
