Golf is one of the few sports where people are still allowed to partake in, even in areas which are still under stay-at-home orders.
That has been a welcome relief to the club's secretary manager, Michelle Carroll.
But at around midnight on Wednesday night/Thursday morning, someone broke into the club and torn apart sections of the course.
"It's ripped up three of our greens on the 10th, 11th and 12th," she said.
"The greenkeeper found it early this morning and I've spoken to him who has said it's a bit of a mess down there."
A mess is right. Pictures show tyre marks right across the greens as well as holes dug into the turf a couple of metres long.
Although play is still open for golfers, clubhouse operations in 'stay at home' areas and 'areas of concern' must be closed for normal business (except takeaway, home delivery or 'click and collect').
This means Duntryleague hasn't had nearly the income in recent months that it is used to.
"It's devastating and considering our clubhouse, guest house and restaurant are all locked down, financially we don't need this," Ms Carroll added.
"I don't know how much it would cost to repair, so we'll just have to wait and see what our greenkeeper thinks and what we'll need to do. They are out there today (Thursday) trying to repair them so it's a lot of their time wasted."
Although they don't know who caused the damage, they do know that it was a single motorbike that made its way onto the course.
"We did get some footage on our first tee camera which has shown that's where they came through, on the first tee so obviously up the main driveway and on from there, the secretary manager added.
"It was just the one motorbike, but we couldn't get any number plates or anything like that.
"Holes 11 and 12 are near the clubhouse, but the 10th you can't see from anywhere at the clubhouse, it's further down."
Ms Carroll has asked that anyone with information about what happened contact the club or Orange Police.
Regardless of the outcome, it has left a sour taste in the mouth of the secretary manager and the rest of the club.
"I don't understand the joy of it," she added.
