A man has been charged with two counts of murder following the stabbing deaths of two people in an alleged domestic violence attack in Oberon last week.

Emergency services were called to a home in On-Avon Avenue about 7.15am on Friday, August 13 after receiving information about concerns for the welfare of the occupants.
Officers from Chifley Police District attended and found the bodies of a 68-year-old man and a 66-year-old woman.
Following inquiries, officers from Nepean Police Area Command and Nepean Highway Patrol arrested a 46-year-old man on Jack William Drive, Penrith, about 8.50am the same day.
The man, who police say was known to the couple, was treated at the scene by NSW Ambulance paramedics for hand injuries before being taken to Nepean Hospital under police guard.
He was released on Sunday and taken to Penrith police station where he was charged with two counts of murder (domestic violence).
The man was refused bail to appear at Penrith Local Court on Monday.
