Orange Fire Station officer Matthew Jeffrey said Fire & Rescue NSW responded to a car fire within Edye Park, Kurim Ave, Orange on the morning of Monday, August 9 at 3.41am.
"Both Fire and Rescue NSW and NSW Police attended and a late model Toyota RAV was found well alight within the parkland," Mr Jeffrey said.
"The car was extinguished by firefighters using breathing apparatus and foam."
The vehicle was completely destroyed by fire.
This marks nearly a month and a half since the last car fire was reported, which in itself saw three cars in three weeks set alight.
The most recent before the Edye Park fire was in Sir Neville Howse Place, East Orange.
The ones prior to that took place in Cedar Street and Forbes Road.
Orange Police have also been contacted for a comment on the fire.
