On Sunday from 2pm - 4pm friends are invited to Orange City Library to share in refreshments, snacks and some fun.
The Library's new Business Administration Trainees Claire and Andreas have been busy preparing for the event creating picnic sets and sorting Lego for the special Library Lovers' Day event.
Acting Central West Libraries Manager Sean Brady said Library Lovers' Day celebrates the valuable role that libraries play in our lives.
"Our libraries are re-invigorating this year with more programs, activities, events and author visits," Mr Brady said.
"And on Sunday afternoon bring a friend and together enjoy refreshments, snacks and simply take time out to play with some Lego and chat.
"We'll dust off the record player and spin some tunes for a relaxing time in the Library."
Orange City Library is located at 147 Byng St.
