Police are investigating a fire that destroyed a NSW Police vehicle in Hill End overnight.

Police say emergency services were called to the Hill End police station about 1.30am on Friday following reports from neighbours that a fully-marked NSWPF Toyota Land Cruiser was on fire.
The NSW Rural Fire Service (RFS) attended and extinguished the blaze, however the vehicle was completely destroyed.
There was no one present at the station at the time of the fire.
Investigators from Chifley Police District have initiated inquiries into the incident and are appealing for anyone with information about the incident to contact Bathurst Police or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
