Not even the most loyal Orange City fan would have told you they expected a 41-3 evisceration of Forbes on Saturday but that's exactly what occurred in a virtual Blowes Clothing Cup eliminator on Saturday afternoon at Pride Park.

The Lions put the Platypi to the sword from bell-to-bell, chalking up their third win of the season with an all-important bonus point that sent them up to third spot on the ladder.
The result sets up a round seven rematch against Kangaroos in the opening week of the finals and Viv Paasi's men wouldn't be in that position if it weren't for an excellent, all-round performance against Forbes.
"We just wanted to make sure we stuck to our structures," Paasi said.
"They worked well against Dubbo and Emus and we spoke about it during the week.
"We needed to shut them down defensively because the only way they were going to make it to the finals was if they got a bonus point."
It takes 15 blokes to win a game of footy but each win has its impactful individual performances and Steven Widders' two-try display went a long way to booking City a spot in the playoffs.
"He [Widders] was great on the weekend," he said.
"He didn't feel like he got enough ball against Emus and one of the directions from the coaching staff was to make sure he went looking for the ball.
"That's exactly what he did and he threatened all day."
City has gained a stack of confidence after every win it's put together but Paasi knows the Dubbo side they run into in week one of the finals will have a much higher level of motivation than the one it knocked off two weeks ago.
And even though the Lions will be planning for everything the Roos are set to throw at them this week, Paasi reflected on what was an extremely successful season at Pride Park - not just for the top-grade boys, but for everyone.
"It's just a credit to the entire club," he said.
"We've got all three grades in the finals and the girls got their first win on the weekend.
"We've been able to achieve it on the back of a lot of hard work. Everything's moving back to where it needs to be and we're building the club back up brick-by-brick."
Orange City will open its postseason account with an away game at Dubbo's Apex Oval.
