Ms Milne, the publicity officer and historian of the show collection, said she was surprised to receive it.
"It was the biggest shock, I wasn't expecting it," she said.
Ms Milne said her role was a 'full-time job' preparing for each year's show.
She said it was a culmination of about 10-15 years work for the show.
Ms Milne said she was the fifth generation of her family involved with the Orange dating back to William Spurway, a judge and involved with the fruit section in 1885-86.
She said organisers were hopeful the show would return next May after the coronavirus pandemic forced it to be called off this year.
Officer bearers for 2020-21 will be president Peter Naylor, vice presidents Chris Ross and Peter Milne, secretary Rebecca Blandford, treasurer Matt Lamrock and publicity officer Sue Milne. The executive committe is Peter Naylor, Chris Ross, Peter Milne, Rebecca Blandford, Matt Lamrock, Sue Milne, Button Dunn and Jaci Norris.
