According to police Kobi Ings, 21, of William Street, was driving a car belonging to a friend at Spring Terrace at 11.30pm on May 2 when she lost control of the car which rolled several times and came to rest in nearby grassland.
A backseat passenger, who was not wearing a seat belt was thrown from the vehicle and sustained injuries to her neck and back.
Ings and other passengers got out and called triple zero.
Police, NSW Fire and Rescue and paramedics attended and the injured passenger taken to Orange hospital.
Ings returned a positive breath test at the scene and was arrested and taken to Orange Police Station where she returned a mid-range drink-driving reading of 0.082 on analysis.
She told police she had seven full-strength beers between 5pm and 10.30pm.
The circumstances that led to Ings losing control of the car will go to a separate hearing.
Magistrate David Day said Ings had no relevant prior traffic record before the crash.
"If there hadn't been a traffic incident she wouldn't have come under notice," Mr Day said.
He took into account the three months she had already served on a police suspension so gave her a one-month driving disqualification.
Mr Day also ordered her to have an interlock device fitted to her car for 12 months and he placed her on a six-month community correction order.
