The 'feels like' temperature didn't rise above zero in Orange on Monday, with the actual temperatures not higher than five, and Orange expecting maximums of six and eight degrees on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday.
Rain did hit the region over the weekend, and Orange's combined water storage continued to rise as a result - but our water usage is also on the up.
The combined storage of Suma Park and Spring Creek Dams is currently 26.24 per cent, and after 31mm fell over the weekend that figure will continue to go up.
Orange has been on level 5 water restrictions since October 6, with the goal to keep our water usage to 160 litres per person, per day.
That figure hit 135 litres per person, per day last week, which is the highest it's been since March.
Last week the figure was 132L, while the week ending June 4 was 128L - still well below the 160L mark.
Across the region over the weekend, Young was the wettest location with 34.8mm recorded in the BoM's rain gauge at the airport, while Parkes received 21.8mm.
Bathurst also had good rainfall with 18.6mm recorded.
