In Februrary the airline announced its regional arm QantasLink would provide 11 return flights between Orange and Sydney on a mix of Q300 and Q200 aircraft.
Qantas said it would add more than 45,000 seats on the route a year.
However, it has now said "all new planned routes have been paused" due to the coronavirus.
On April 16 Qantas announced its domestic service would be restricted to 164 flights a week to capital cities and 36 existing regional destinations.
Qantas' move comes as the two existing airlines operating to Orange have announced they would provide limited services.
Rex will operate Sydney-Orange return flights on Tuesdays and Fridays while Fly Corporate will provide two services a week to Melbourne and Brisbane.
