Daybreak's publicity director Stuart Smith said the club's major fundraising events had to be cancelled due to COVID-19 restrictions.
However, the club decided to dip into its reserves and spent $1,000 to be able to support a worthy cause.
"The hospital staff are doing a very important job and are very worthy of everyone's respect," he said.
Orange Health Service's general manager Catherine Nowlan said she was grateful for the donation.
"On behalf of everyone at the hospital, I would like to express our gratitude for the thoughtfulness and generosity of Orange Daybreak Rotary," she said
"The situation as a result of COVID-19 is unprecedented and we are humbled by the community support that health workers and our hospital have received."
While there, the club also took the opportunity to officially hand over a $25,000 cheque to the clinical trials unit for prostate cancer that was raised from a recent Harley Davidson raffle.
Orange Health Service's manager for Orange's clinical trials unit Stephen Millard said the money raised from the raffle will be used for future clinical trials.
"Every single patient that we can treat at the Orange clinic, rather than needing treatment away from their home and family, is a job well done," he said.
