Thirty people have recovered from Coronavirus across the Western NSW Local Health District

The number of COVID-19 cases in the region has remained stable at 44 since April 6, with 30 of those people now recovered, while one person has now died.

While data provided by the Western NSW Local Health District shows the number of people recovering from the virus is increasing each day, authorities will not confirm which towns these people are from.

They, will however, confirm the number of COVID-19 cases that have been diagnosed by local government area.

Orange has the most at 10, with the region's only death from the virus, a 67-year-old woman.

Bathurst has had nine confirmed COVID-19 cases, while there have been six in Dubbo and five in Cabonne.

This is followed by Mid-Western (4), Blayney (3) and Coonamble (2), while Narromine, Parkes, Warren, Warrumbungle and Weddin each have one confirmed case.

A number of LGAs, including Cowra, Forbes, Bogan and Oberon, have had no COVID-19 cases at all.

Nationally, almost 6400 Australians have caught the virus, with about 3340 having recovered.

Australian deaths: remain at 61 (26 in NSW, 14 in Vic, four in Qld, six in WA, five in Tas, two in ACT, four in SA). 18 were passengers on the Ruby Princess.
