It may have been the Orange Harness Racing Club's feature meeting, but the 2020 Banjo Patterson Cup belonged to Bathurst as 2019 Inter Dominion finalist Atomic Red starred by taking out the 2260 metre pace.

Steve Turnbull would taking home the placings, with his daughter Amanda in the gig for the 2019 Inter Dominion finalist and $1.25 favourite Atomic Red, his son Mitch driving Courtsinsession ($7) to second, while he was in control of his other Inter Dominion finalist Conviction ($12) taking third.
Atomic Red had no issues in the race, taking to the front at the start and was never really threaten for the remainder of the race, although Courtsinsession and Conviction both did their best to catch their stable-mate.
Both wind and rain played a part in the race held in Bathurst as the meeting was moved from Towac Park because of the Orange track's poor condition
"It was really windy, top of the straight when they were turning for the home straight, it was pretty bad," she said.
"But I thought he'd have a good shot with the draw he had, but it was a pretty strong field."
Turnbull said Atomic Red had a brief break after his run at the Inter Dominion.
"He had a little bit of break but then he was back straight into work," she said.
"He didn't need too much off.
"It was good to see him back in the winner's circle."
While Bernie Hewitt's Lets Katchmeifucan ($16) drew barrier one, Atomic Red and Courtsinsession had the better start, so Hewitt's chance had to settle one behind the leader earlier on.
That's where the six-year-old bay gelding stayed for most of the race, but the New Zealand pacer would eventually fall away in home straight, slumping to last place.
Atomic Red would finish almost four metres ahead of Courtsinsession in second and third-placed Conviction five metres back from the front.
There was a considerable gap between the placings and fourth, with Nathan Turnbull's Bettor Than Best ($101) over seven metres behind third to be the fourth horse past the winning post.
Steve Turnbull's fourth starter of the race - Maximus Red ($71) - claimed fifth, while the Phillip Hughes-inspired Fouroeight came in at sixth for Mat Rue.
Veteran pacer Beetson ($34) completed the 203rd race of his career, but the 2011 Gold Chalice winner finished seventh for trainer Peter Trevor-Jones.
